So far this summer thing is going great!! 3 weeks in Kansas at the Bunkie and then a few days visiting my brother and sis-in-law in Houston! Had sooo much fun but back to reality for a few weeks!! HA! Made some major life changing decisions while gone - isn't it amazing how you can have such clarity when away from the daily grind? Anyway, I am feeling really good about the decisions I have made and am putting into action January 1, 2014! Wow -so close and yet so far away.

Ok so summer is RIGHT around the corner and I know we are all ready to go, right??? Well ok so some of us are more ready than others!! I am looking forward to 3 weeks in Kansas with my family stopping by Houston on the way home to visit more family! Yeah!!! Then 3 weeks home and THEN 3 weeks in the North Carolina mountains with my sweetie!! Ahhhhhh I can just feel the sweet smell of afternoon breezes coming in off the porch as I am taking my naps! Ha! Have a great summer y'all!!

Enjoy every second because the days are slipping by sometimes without us even noticing them!! Even an old bike can be pretty and NEW!!!

So I have been wanting to do a blog for a while on what I love about life on a daily basis just to keep myself....um.....real?? Pretty much just a diary of pictures and thoughts that I could come back to when I want to just see where I have been and where I am going. Nice, huh?? Today I am thinking about..... Gratitude.
Gratitude for the wonderful blessings God has given us and the amazing gift called life that he has given us.
I was reading on a blog somewhere about writing down three things you are grateful for every day. Maybe I can do it just for today and see where we go from there??
- My family and the love they give me..no matter what!! :)
- My health - not exactly where I would LOVE it to be right now but better than a lot of people out there. Very grateful for that!
- The view off of this porch - gotta love that huh??
Live your life...enjoy every minute and remember to chill on the porch every once in a while!
